A reading tracker built around the habit, not the spreadsheet

Readaily is a free reading tracker app for iPhone and Android. You add the books you are reading, time each reading session, and log the page where you stopped; Readaily turns that into your progress, your pace and a gentle daily streak.

Most reading trackers start from the catalogue: you shelve books, rate them, and maybe come back at the end of the year to count them. Readaily starts from the reading itself. Every time you sit down with a book, you start a session, and everything else — progress, pace, streaks, stats — comes from those sessions.

What you can track

  • Books and their status. Reading, want to read, finished and archived, with cover and page count filled in from the ISBN or a title search.
  • Reading sessions. A timer for each sitting, with the page you started on and the page you stopped at.
  • Pages or minutes. Pages for print and ebooks, minutes for audiobooks.
  • Progress per book. How far you are, how fast you are going, and how long the rest of the book will take at your pace.
  • Your week, month and year. Minutes and pages per day, a calendar of reading days, and the books you finished.
  • Notes from a session. An optional line about what you read, how you felt before and after, and where you were.

Why a session-based tracker

A shelf tells you what you read. Sessions tell you how you read: whether you read in the morning or at night, whether ten minutes a day is working, and how many evenings it will take to finish the book on your nightstand. In Readaily the median session lasts 29 minutes and readers turn about 28 pages an hour (measured across 1,033 timed sessions in October 2026). Your own numbers will differ, and that is the point: the app learns your pace and shows it back to you.

If what you want is a big public catalogue, reviews from millions of readers and a yearly reading challenge, a catalogue app like Goodreads or StoryGraph is built for that (see our comparisons). If what you want is to read more often, a session tracker is the better tool.

Free and Pro

Everything on this page is free. Free accounts show ads and keep one active book at a time. Readaily Pro removes ads and adds Focus Mode, Smart Sessions, unlimited active books and unlimited book clubs, with a 7-day free trial.

Questions

Is Readaily a free reading tracker?

Yes. Tracking books, sessions, pages, goals, reminders and statistics is free. Readaily Pro (US$0.99 a month or US$9.99 a year in the US, local prices vary) removes ads and adds Focus Mode, Smart Sessions, unlimited clubs and unlimited active books.

Can I track physical books, ebooks and audiobooks?

Yes. You track printed books and ebooks by page, and audiobooks by minutes.

How do I add a book?

Scan the ISBN barcode, search by title or author, or type it in by hand. Cover and page count fill in automatically when the book is found.

Does the reading tracker work offline?

Yes. Your library, sessions and streak live on your phone first and sync when you are back online, so you can log a session on a plane or in a cabin.

No. Readaily tracks the books you already have, in any format, from any store or library.
