A book club app for people who don't read at the same speed
Readaily book clubs are private groups that read the same book together. You join with an invite code, see how far each member has read as a percentage, and talk in the club's journal; members read at their own pace, and the club helps nobody fall too far behind.
The hardest part of a book club is not choosing the book. It is the month in between, when half the group is on chapter 3 and the other half finished in a weekend. Readaily clubs are built for that month.
How a Readaily club works
- Create a club with the book you’ll read together, and share its invite code.
- Friends join with the code. If you prefer, approve each request before someone gets in.
- Everyone reads at their own pace, with their own timer, goal and streak.
- The circle shows where everyone is, as a percentage of the book, so you can see who is ahead and who could use encouragement.
- Talk in the club’s journal. Post a thought after a session, reply to others, and keep the conversation in one place instead of a group chat.
Built for privacy, not for an audience
A club is not a public feed. Members see each other’s progress as a percentage, never page numbers or minutes, and outsiders see nothing. There are no likes to collect and no strangers in the conversation.
Gentle nudges
When a member hasn’t read in a while, the club can send them a friendly nudge. It is one notification, not a campaign, and members can turn club notifications off.
Different editions, same club
Because progress is a percentage of the book, a 280-page paperback and a 340-page hardcover line up.
Free and Pro
You can join one club for free. Creating your own clubs and joining as many as you like is part of Readaily Pro, which also removes ads and adds Focus Mode and Smart Sessions.
Questions
Is the Readaily book club app free?
Joining one club is free. Creating clubs and joining more than one is part of Readaily Pro (US$0.99 a month or US$9.99 a year in the US; local prices vary), which includes a 7-day free trial.
Are book clubs public?
No. A club is private: people join with its invite code, and the owner can require approval before someone joins.
Can members see how many pages I read?
Members see your progress in the book as a percentage, not your raw page numbers or your reading time.
Does everyone have to read the same edition?
No. Progress is shown as a percentage of the book, so a paperback, an ebook and a hardcover with different page counts still line up.
Can I use Readaily for a classroom or a work book club?
Yes. Any group that reads the same book works, as long as members install the app on iPhone or Android.
Try it with the book you’re reading
Readaily is free on iPhone and Android. Add your current book, set a goal you’ll actually keep, and start your first session tonight.
